Argento is a UK based company and complies with UK consumer law including the Distance Selling Regulations, our Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to cancel an order and return any goods that may already have been dispatched, up to 7 days from receipt, and Argento have 30 days to refund any payment following cancellation. The Argento online returns policy allows 90 days to return your item. For hygiene reasons Earrings and Body Jewellery cannot be returned/exchanged if the security bag has been tampered with, unless the item is faulty.
Because we trade in the UK, all prices on this site include VAT (Value Added Tax) at 20%. If you are shopping with us from outside the E.U. or a tax-exempt country such as the Channel Islands then this VAT does not apply. Our web site will automatically display all prices with the VAT deducted and you will be billed accordingly.

Card Payments, Security and Privacy
Argento accept most major credit cards. Exchange rates around the world do vary frequently so payments made to Argento must always be in UK pounds/Sterling, unless from eurozone countries, where we can charge by in euros by credit card. Any Paypal payments will be subject to their daily conversion rate.
Argento reserves the right to cancel any order where the name on the billing address does not match that of the cardholder or where billing address and delivery address do not match, without further recourse to you. This is to protect both consumers and Argento. Argento may dispatch any order to billing address rather than delivery address as an alternative.
We can assure you that all your information is kept safe and secure, from your on-line shopping basket to the goods arriving at your front door. A secure SSL encryption protects all your details during the shopping process and we do not pass on or use them with any third parties, companies and marketing organisations. All the details required are needed for no other reason than to fully process your order.
For remote addresses and international orders, your telephone number may be forwarded on to our couriers, to ensure receipt of your goods.
Argento are a chosen partner of One4all Gift vouchers for use in store. We are happy to process a telephone order using a one4all gift card but we cannot accept them via our website.
Payment will be taken as when a debit or credit card is used.
Refunds for online orders will not be issued to a One4all card under any circumstances as per One4all's terms of conditions of use, unless the product is deemed faulty upon inspection and/or Argento are unable to fulfil an order. All other instances of issuing refunds will be in the form of an Argento Gift Voucher, or Store Credit, depending upon preference, valid for 6 months following date of issue.
Dispatching Your Order
At Argento we endeavour to keep stock levels as accurate as possible. Unfortunately, due to the large volume of orders being processed daily there can be very rare occasions where our stock levels do not immediately reflect on the website.
In the event of an order being placed for an item of which we no longer have stock we will attempt to locate the item in one of our stores and have it dispatched directly from them.
We will contact you by email as soon as possible to advise you of this. If you are ordering multiple items at once we will have stocked items dispatched separately and then dispatch any missing items as soon as we receive more stock.

Gift Vouchers & Loyalty Scheme

Lost In Post
If you haven't received your purchase within 21 days of dispatch (15 working days, Royal Mail include Saturday as a working day) or 10 working days for Special Delivery, Argento will class this as "lost in the post". Please get in touch with us and we will liaise with our logistics partner to get it all sorted out for you. We cannot refund or replace any item until this timescale has been reached. Argento will retain title to any goods until delivered to a residential address/work address, and ownership transfers to you on receipt/delivery to address specified. Argento cannot take any responsibility for items delivered to the specified address and signed for but subsequently mislaid or stolen. Argento will not accept liability for incorrect address detail input during checkout. Any orders dispatched to an address incorrectly input by our customers will only be resent or refunded if the order is returned unopened by Royal Mail, no refunds will be issued due to errors caused by end-users. At Argento, we engrave using a high powered fibre laser created by jewellery specialists. This produces the deepest and most accurate effect and clarity on even the smallest of pieces. Please be aware that when we engrave rose gold or any metal, the laser peels away the layers of that material, leaving the image or words in place. The colour will not change to be anything other than the original colour of the metal which you are engraving. Also, depending on the product you choose, the more letters you engrave, will impact the size of the lettering and therefore how it will look visually,
We offer free engraving on our selected range of personalised products. Most of our engraving we do within 5 working days. If you would like your order done sooner, please tick the ‘next working day’ delivery option in the checkout. We hope to have the order dispatched within 48 working hours, however, we cannot guarantee same day dispatch, due to the nature of the skills involved.
Once a piece of jewellery has been engraved it is no longer in its original saleable condition and so cannot be resold. Unless there is fault with the engraving or jewellery we do not offer a full refund. We do however offer a 50% refund on any engraved jewellery that has been purchased online and returned within 19 days of dispatch. Any spelling errors due to incorrect information provided by you will not deemed an error by Argento. We cannot offer refunds for engraved jewellery purchased in store, unless the error is Argento’s.
Cancellations Under Consumer Contracts Regulations
On occasions, Argento may not be able to stop your order being dispatched following receipt of a cancellation notice, due to high volume of orders and emails received. If this occurs, please be assured that this does not affect your rights under the Consumer Contract Regulations. Argento offer a free returns service (UK only) to ensure you are able to cancel your order and return it to us with as much ease as possible, in the event that we are unable to stop your order being dispatched. Argento have up to a maximum of 30 days to process a refund following cancellation.
Argento cannot issue a refund until the cancelled items/order have been returned to us or the order was stopped prior to dispatch.
Argento allows 90 days following date of dispatch to return items for refund or exchange (20 days in the case of sale or discounted items to allow for delivery) to ensure full compliance with these regulations.
